There are still four rounds left until the end of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Zrinjski players are still in the race for the title.
Yesterday, in the 29th round, Željko Petrović's team defeated Posušje away 1:0 and remained five points behind Borec from Banja Luka.
Zrinjski won for the first time this season over Posušje (previously they lost and drew), and the only goal of the match was scored by Nemanja Bilbija from the penalty spot in the 32nd minute.
"A very demanding and difficult match. We knew that this was the team that actually took the title from us, because we lost five points to them. A team that has head and tail, the coach is doing a good job. A very important victory for us, I am proud of our players. Here, if you don't give 100 percent, it's hard to win the game," Petrović said after the game.
Zrinjski has won seven championships.
"Seventh win in a row, we played a tough away game steadily. We closed their options, they had their chances and so did we. I wish them the best of luck, especially the coach because it is clear that he has put something in order. We will try to win everything until the end, and I will not see what others will do," said Petrović.
The team from Mostar will play against Široki Brijeg, GOŠK, Tuzla and Igman until the end of the season.
Championship leader, Borac from Banja Luka will play against GOŠK, Tuzla, Igman and Željeznicar.
Borac and Zrinjski will also meet in the final of the Cup, and the first match is on May 8 in Mostar, while the second leg is seven days later in Banja Luka.
