The choice for the legends of Montenegrin handball was easy - Popović won the Champions League six times, Bulatović four, and Savić three.

Bojana was the best player in the world, Maja one of the best wings ever, and Katarina marked the year 2012 like few others - she won the Champions League, European gold and Olympic silver, and was the best goal scorer of the championship in Serbia and the Games in London.

Among the handball players from the region, Croatian Ivano Balić, Serbs Dragan Škrbić and Momir Ilić, Macedonian Kiril Lazarov, Bosnian Irfan Smailagić, Slovenian Vid Kavtičnik and the former representative of the FRY and Spain, Arpad Šterbik, were admitted to the Hall of Fame.

The best player of all time, Nikola Karabatić, is not among the top 30 handball players, because he is still playing.
