Another great recognition for Montenegrin handball referees - our country will be the only one to have two pairs at the World Championship held in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
"It was previously known that Jelena Vujačić and Anđelina Kažanegra shared justice at the world championship, and today the invitation of the World Handball Federation (IHF) also arrived for Novica Mitrović and Miljan Vešović," announced the Handball Association of Montenegro.
Vujačić and Kažanegra, the only Montenegrins on the EHF list of referees, received IHF badges in June 2021.
This is their first WC, and they refereed at the 2020 European Championships in Denmark and in November last year, when the hosts were Slovenia, North Macedonia and Montenegro.
Mitrović and Vešović are on the review of the 32 best national teams on the planet for the second time, after they were one of the pairs of referees at the championship in Spain two years ago.
