The women's handball team of Montenegro will have rivals in the group at the European Championship, which will be played from November 28 to December 15 in Austria, Hungary and Switzerland, the Handball Association announced.
The draw will take place in Vienna at 18 pm.
Montenegro will be drawn from the first hat based on their performance in the qualifiers and at the last European Championship, where they won a bronze medal.
It is certain that the Montenegrin national team will play in group B in Debrecen, and the draw will determine the composition of six groups with four selections each.
EHF Euro 2024 will be the first championship in which 24 national teams will compete, instead of the previous 16.
In the first hat, along with Montenegro, there are also: Norway, Denmark, France, Sweden and the Netherlands.
Second hat: Germany, Spain, Romania, Hungary, Switzerland and Austria.
Third hat: Slovenia, Croatia, Poland, Serbia, North Macedonia and Iceland.
From the last, fourth hat, the group will be filled by: Czech Republic, Ukraine, Turkey, Faroe Islands, Portugal and Slovakia.
The first phase of the championship will be played in Debrecen, Basel and Innsbruck.
The hosts of the main round will be Debrecen and Vienna, while the final round will be held in the capital of Austria, Vienna.
