The last, 21st stage of the bicycle race through Spain was won by Primož Roglič.
It is his fourth stage victory, but also his triumph at the Vuelta, the third in his career.
The Slovenian from Jumbo Visma was 4,42 minutes ahead of second-placed Spaniard Enrique Masa, which was the biggest difference until 1997 at the Vuelta.
Roglič won the Olympic gold medal in the time trial in Tokyo.
