Irish cyclist Ben Healy is the winner of the eighth stage of the Giro d'Italia race, which was run today from Terni to Fossombrone.
Hili covered the semi-mountainous section of 207 kilometers in four hours, 44 minutes and 24 seconds.
Canadian Derek Gee, Italian Filippo Zana and French Warren Bargil crossed the finish line in second, third and fourth place, one minute and 49 seconds behind the winner.
Norwegian Andreas Leknesund retained the lead in the general standings, followed by Belgian Remko Evenpool with eight and Slovenian Primož Roglič with 38 seconds behind.
The next stage is an individual time trial with a length of 35 kilometers, and it will be run tomorrow from Savignono Sul Rubicone to Ćesena.
