The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) has announced the composition of the groups and the schedule of matches for the qualifications for the European Championship in 2026 in the competition of male and female volleyball players.
The seniors will play in group C with the Czech Republic and Norway, while the volleyball rivals in group D will be Bosnia and Herzegovina and Latvia.
Starting this year, the qualification system has been changed, because 21 selections will fight for the next European Championship, which will be divided into seven groups of three teams each.
Placement at Eurovolley 2026 will be won by the winners of the seven qualification groups, as well as the five best second-placed national teams.
This year, the seniors will visit Norway in the first round (August 17 or 18), and then welcome the Czech Republic (August 24 or 25).
Next year, our selection will play two qualifying matches for Eurovolley 2026. On August 13, 2025, Ivan Joksimović's team will host the Czech Republic, and on August 16 or 17, they will host Norway in the last round of qualifications.
The senior women start from Latvia (August 17 or 18, 2024), while the second game will be played at home against Bosnia and Herzegovina (August 24 or 25).
Next year, Milorad Krunić's team will host the BiH selection on August 6, while in the last round, on August 9 or 10, they will host Latvia.
