Tonight, the Montenegrin national team will find out their rivals in the first fights at the European Boxing Championship, which will be held in Belgrade from April 15 to 29.
The draw will begin after the meeting of the Technical Committee at 17:XNUMX. Five Montenegrin representatives will be boxing on the list of selectors of the Ružić School in Belgrade at the biggest competition of the Old Continent.
In the category up to 70 kilograms, the bronze medalist from the previous European Championship, Tamara Radunović, will be boxing. The male part of the team consists of: Tomislav Đinović (- 60 kg), Stefan Savković (- 71), Petar Marčić (- 80) and Dilan Prašović (+ 92 kilograms).
Along with Ružić, the team's head coach Srgej Kudrjavcov and coach Momčilo Zlaticanin are in the professional staff.
Our selection is weakened by the absence of the best boxer in Europe under the age of 22, Petar Liješević, who operated on the hand injured in the match victory at "Belgrade Pobednik", and the most decorated boxer Bojana Gojković, who due to health problems will not defend the silver from the previous European Championship.
Blažo Jabučanin, the Montenegrin judge with the highest titles in boxing, will judge in Belgrade.
Our selection is already 12 years old in Belgrade, because in Košutnjaku, it performed joint preparations with the host selections of Serbia, Moldova, Lithuania and countries from the region, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia.
