Draževina 2024 - Nedeljko Burzanović Memorial will be held on April 28 in the Podgorica village of the same name, the organizers of the event announced.
The competition will be held for the 16th time, and like last year, it will have a memorial character, in memory of the founder of the meeting, Nedjeljko Burzanović.
Shot putters will compete in the categories of veterans (5 kg), pioneers (4), pioneers (3), younger juniors (5), younger juniors (3), juniors (4), juniors (6), seniors (4) and seniors (7,260 kg).
Last year's winners of the meeting in the senior competition were Anita Marton from Hungary (17,79 meters) and Tomaš Đurović from AK Podgorica with a result of 19,30 meters.
Marton is the record holder of the meet in the competition with a result of 19,63 meters, and she threw that shot on April 30, 2017.
In the men's competition, the record holder is Hamza Alić from Zenica with a result of 21,07 meters, which he achieved at the first meeting on April 28, 2008.
The start of the competition is scheduled for ten hours and 30 minutes.
