The driver of Red Bull, Max Verstappen, triumphed in the first sprint race of the season, which was run as part of the Chinese Grand Prix.
The reigning Formula 1 champion started from fourth place, and in the end he celebrated with more than 13 seconds of difference compared to the second-placed Mercedes driver, Lewis Hamilton.
Third place was taken by another Red Bull driver, Sergio Peres.
McLaren driver Lando Norris, who started from first place, finished the race in sixth place.
Verstappen leads the general standings with 85 points, 15 more than Peres, while Charles Leclerc is third with 64.
Qualifying is scheduled for today in China, and the race is scheduled for Sunday.
