The captain of the Montenegrin boxers, Petar Marčić, left no choice to the judges in the "Aleksandar Nikolić" hall in Belgrade - with two knockdowns, he overturned the point balance on the lists and routinely defeated the Belgian light heavyweight Sinembi Ajtan Ležanaze.
In the fight for the semi-finals and a medal at the European Championship in Belgrade, boxer BK Budva Marčić will fight against an old acquaintance, the Frenchman Cesar Jođerlin, who eliminated him from the first Olympic qualification tournament in Italy.
However, Marčić will have a chance for a rematch, since the Frenchman "got through" after a long-term defeat against the Italian Alfred Cromwell.
And Marčić entered the match brilliantly against the Belgian, who only moved the air with his short crochets, while our captain, on the other hand, was filigree precise and every attack was meaningful and effective.
However, three of the five judges gave the lead to Ležanaze, which disrupted Marčić's rhythm. However, half a minute before the end of the second round, he managed to deliver a fierce blow to the body with a jab and then "dropped" a terrible right hook for a knockdown.

But there was no need for that, because Marčić was convincingly better in the third round.
"It's good, I'm not tired. I was surprised when they told me after the prev trunda in the corner that they scored him 3:2, I stepped up and finished the job. I'll be ready for the rematch with the Frenchman. I have to do everything to win that match. I'll be ready and rested," Marčić said.
