The selector of the women's senior volleyball team of Montenegro, Milorad Krunić, announced the list of players for preparations for the appearance in the CEV Silver League.
17 volleyball players are competing for a place in the team.
The list includes - technicians: Marija Šušić (Buta Baku, Azerbaijan), Viktoria Đukić (Budućnost volje);
Service receivers and correctors: Danijela Džaković (Macerata, Italy), Nevena Vukčević (Lugoš, Romania), Lara Jovović (Herceg Novi), Simona Petranović (Ub, Serbia), Darja Popović (Budućnost volej), Kristina Božović (Luka Bar) and Viktorija Čoković (Budva);
Middle blockers: Mina Dragović (Jedinstvo Stara Pazova, Serbia), Katarina Budrak (Romans, France), Saška Đurović (Crvena zvezda, Serbia), Teodora Rakočević (Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Lana Rakočević (Buducnost volley);
Libera: Melisa Cenović (Herceg Novi), Gordana Madžgalj (Jedinstvo) and Ksenija Krunić (Academy).
The gathering is scheduled for May 6 in Podgorica.
The senior women will train in the Verde complex sports hall, where the matches of the first tournament will be played from May 17 to 19.
The teams of the Faroe Islands and Georgia will be visiting in Podgorica.
On the first day of the tournament, May 17, Montenegro will play the Faroe Islands, the next day Georgia and the Faroe Islands will meet, and Montenegro will conclude the tournament with a match against Georgia on May 19.
After the performance on the home field, selected by coach Krunić, they will visit Portugal together with Iceland from May 24 to 26 as part of the second tournament.
On the third weekend, which is scheduled from May 31 to June 2, Montenegro will play the host and the Portugal team at a tournament in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and on the fourth weekend they are free, as are Portugal, Hungary, Latvia, Georgia, Iceland and Luxembourg.
The two best national teams after four played tournaments will play a two-match final (June 13 and 16).
