Today, a sports fair was held in Bar on the occasion of the Day of the National Teams of Montenegro, organized by the Municipality of Bar and the Ministry of Sports and Youth.
As it was announced, the event was attended by Minister Dragoslav Šćekić, President of the Municipality of Bar Dušan Raičević, and representatives of the Secretariat for Sport and Youth of the Municipality of Bar headed by Secretary Goran Simić.
"In addition to the fact that we strive to continuously strengthen the feeling of local patriotism, the fact that we were given the opportunity from the level of the relevant ministry to organize the National Team Day and to once again confirm that Bar's heart beats for the "golden lionesses", "sharks" makes me especially happy. falcons", and for all those who defend the colors of our Montenegro", said the President of Bar Municipality Dušan Raičević.
He added that 38 clubs from Bar took part in the organization of the Day of National Teams.
"This is a special occasion in the year when we celebrate the great anniversaries of our sports clubs, the year in which our football club celebrates 100 years of existence, the basketball club 50 years, but also all those sports teams that continuously achieve significant sports results are the greatest wealth of our city Raičević pointed out.
The Minister of Sports and Youth, Dragoslav Šćekić, expressed his satisfaction with today's celebration of the Day of the National Teams of Montenegro in Bar, a city which, he says, is a true city of sports and a breeding ground for talent.
"When we talk about national teams, we have to mention the national team players that this city gave to Montenegro, such as Nikola Vučević, Tatjana Bokan, Nikoleta Perović, Nebojša Simić... These are just some of the names that represent Montenegro and At least," Šćekić said.
