MK president Thomas Bach, who supported WADA, is also in trouble.
"You can't suspend athletes just because some people are unhappy," Bach said.
Allegedly, the kitchen used by the Chinese swimmers was contaminated with trimetazidine (the chef used it for his own needs), because of which the best figure skater ever, Kamila Valieva, was deprived of Olympic gold, records and even state awards in Russia. She was sentenced to four years and ended her career. They are angry in Russia!
"So all that in WADA only applies to Russians? No one else, or what? Or are the rules the same for everyone? What is this leader saying, Bah? Explanations in WADI made Russian athletes laugh.
"For us, the question was why the Chinese would test them and report positive samples, knowing that it would cause a lot of problems later," said Günter Janger of the WADA investigative body, adding:
"If I wanted to hide doping, like the Russians, I wouldn't have gone that way. Everything was discussed and if, given all the experiences of our department, we thought something was wrong, we would investigate it. But RUSADA also reported that Valieva had an illegal limit of trimetazidine in the rehearsal! USADA, the American agency is now at war with WADA. And not only her, accusations are pouring in that WADA is not immune to the money that China allocates for the functioning of the World Anti-Doping Agency.
The problem for WADA is that due to the same preparation, in 2014, the world of sports was shaken by two scandals related to the Chinese Sun Yan, then the world's best swimmer.
