The Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas won the Masters in Monte Carlo today, as he defeated the 10th tennis player in the world, the Norwegian Kasper Rud, in the final with 2:0 in sets - 6:1, 6:4.
Tsicipas, the 12th player on the ATP list, won after an hour and 38 minutes of play.
The Greek was convincing in the first set, and with breaks in the third, fifth and seventh games he reached the advantage.
The decisive moment in the second set was seen in the 10th game when Tsicipas used the first match point on Rud's serve and reached the victory and the title.
Today, Tsitsipas won the 11th title in his career, and the first this season.
