A Nazi time capsule dating back to 1934 was found in the Polish town of Zlochejnec, which during the Second World War partly belonged to Germany, the Indipendent portal reported.

The capsule was discovered by an archeologist who had known for years that it existed, but could not get to it, reports this portal citing the London Independent.

The capsule was buried about eighty years ago at the Ordensburg Krosinse construction site, which was one of the three educational centers built by the National Socialist German Workers' Party.

The researchers reportedly had to find a way to get through groundwater and a thick layer of cement to get to the capsule, while bypassing German mines.

Doctor Marcin Peterleitner said that the items in the capsule were perfectly preserved, the London Daily Mail reported.

And the Spanish EPA reported that the capsule contained, among other things, photographs of Adolf Hitler, newspapers, two copies of his book Main Kampf, coins that were in the envelope and promotional materials with information about Falkenburg, which is the German name for the town of Zlochejnec.

The objects are currently in the National Museum in Scećin, and the materials will be translated and preserved before they become available to the public.
