Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the country will rebuild the infrastructure damaged during today's Russian airstrikes.
Reuters adds that he praised the spirit of his people.
"We will rebuild everything and go through all this, because we are an indomitable people," Zelenski said in a short video address published on Telegram.
Today's Russian attacks on the Ukrainian energy infrastructure led to a blackout in parts of Kyiv, as well as in several other cities and neighboring Moldova, Ukrainian officials announced.
Vitaliy Klitschko, the mayor of Kyiv, said at least three people were killed in Russian airstrikes on the Ukrainian capital, including a 17-year-old girl.
