At least one pipeline administration building in Russia's Pskov region was damaged early Saturday (May 27) in an explosion caused by two drone attacks, regional governor Mikhail Vedernikov said on Telegram, without specifying where the drones came from.

The explosion occurred near the village of Litvinovo, not far from the border with Latvia and Belarus.

Vedernikov said there were no immediate reports of casualties.

According to the Baza telegram channel, two kamikaze drones attacked the Transneft pumping station. The base also reported that drones attacked the Belgorod region that borders Ukraine, adding that there were no casualties.

In the second year of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, regions of Russia - both border and non-border - are regularly shelled, with destruction and casualties.

Regional authorities generally claim that the attacks were carried out from the Ukrainian side.

Kiev, as usual, did not comment on the action inside Russia.
