Last night, Russia launched 33 Iranian-made drones and two rockets at the city of Kharkiv, in the east of the country, into Ukraine, the Ukrainian army announced.
Air defenses shot down 22 drones, and Russian forces fired two S-300 guided missiles from the border region of Belgorod, the statement said.
"The occupiers attacked with 33 Shahed-136/131 drones," Ukrainian forces said.
Air defense systems in the eastern, southern and central regions of Ukraine shot down the drones.
Unmanned aerial vehicles were launched from Primorsko Arkhtarsk region and Kursk region.
