The Ukrainian Air Force said it shot down 15 of the 35 drones launched by Russia overnight.
The drones targeted targets towards Kyiv, civilian and military infrastructure.
The military shot down drones over the southern, central and northern regions of the country.
"The enemy also directed part of its drones towards the front line, trying to strike civilian energy infrastructure and military checkpoints," the army statement added.
The Ukrainian military does not specify how much damage was caused by drones that were not neutralized.
