This morning, Russian forces prevented a Ukrainian drone attack in the west of the Belgorod region, on the border with Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Russia announced.
The attack "by seven drones on targets on the territory of Russia was prevented", the Ministry of Defense stated on the X social network.
"All Ukrainian drones were intercepted by anti-aircraft defense," the same sources added.
The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced, however, that one drone hit houses in the town of Gubkin.
He said that there were no victims, but that material damage was caused.
