At least three people were killed today in Russian shelling and drone attacks on Ukraine, regional officials and the military announced.
The attacks damaged critical energy infrastructure in several Ukrainian regions.
The governor of Dnipropetrovsk region, Serhiy Lisak, said that a sixty-four-year-old man was killed in the Russian shelling of Nikopol in the south of Ukraine early this morning, reports Radio Free Europe.
Kherson Governor Oleksandar Prokudin said that one man was killed in the shelling of the village of Lviv.
Prokudin added that two civilians were wounded in that region on Monday.
In the Kupyansk region of eastern Ukraine, a man was killed in the shelling of the village of Kurilivka.
The authorities also announced that several people were wounded in Russian shelling in the regions of Zaporozhye and Donetsk.
Today, for the second day in a row, Russia launched drone attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region, targeting energy infrastructure facilities.
