At least two people were killed and several others were wounded on Wednesday in Russian attacks on the Ukrainian regions of Donetsk and Sumy, officials announced.
Two civilians were killed and 11 were wounded in the eastern region of Donetsk in the bombing of the city of Mirnograd, regional governor Vadim Filashkin said on Telegram.
In the northeastern region of Sumi, 30 apartments were destroyed in an attack by Russian drones on a five-story building, the military administration of the region announced on Telegram.
Ten people were rescued from the ruins, eight of whom were injured, according to the statement.
Local Russian officials said Ukraine carried out a drone attack on the regional headquarters of the Federal Security Service (FSB) in the border region of Belgorod.
Local emergency officials told Russian news agency TASS on Wednesday that there were no casualties, but that the front of the building was damaged in the attack.
Ukraine has not commented on these allegations, nor can they be independently confirmed.
Ukrainian drones struck multiple targets on Tuesday, including Belgorod, in a major attack on Russia that reportedly set fires at two major oil facilities.
