At least eight people were wounded this morning in a Russian missile attack on the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, Mayor Vitaly Klitschko said.
He stated on Telegram that the air defense units repelled the attack and that parts of the missiles fell in different parts of the city, Hina reported.
The remains of the downed Russian rocket hit several residential buildings, industrial facilities and kindergartens.
The mayor of Kyiv said that emergency services are on the ground.
It was the first major rocket attack on Kiev in recent weeks.
