Russian air defense systems shot down more than 10 missiles over the port of Sevastopol in Crimea today, the regional governor installed by Russia said on the Telegram messaging application, Reuters reports.
"Our army repels a massive attack on Sevastopol," Governor Mihail Razvozhaev said.
He added that preliminary information indicates that more than 10 missiles were shot down.
"One woman was injured by shrapnel and infrastructure was damaged, including an office building and a gas pipeline," he said.
Russia annexed the Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea in 2014.
