An energy facility in Ukraine's southern Dnipropetrovsk region was damaged early Friday after a fire and a Russian drone attack, Ukraine's military and a regional official said.

Anti-aircraft systems shot down 16 of 17 drones launched by Russia in six Ukrainian regions early Friday morning, Ukraine's air force said on social media.
