At least nine people were wounded, including four children, in a night attack by Russian drones in Odesa, on the Black Sea, regional governor Oleg Kiper said.
In the Russian attack on Odessa, residential buildings were damaged, he said.
Officials also announced that one person was injured when a drone crashed in Mykolaiv Oblast, in the south of Ukraine.
Odessa and its surroundings have been regularly targeted since the beginning of the Russian invasion two years ago.
The previous balance was seven wounded.
Fire engulfed several buildings during the attack, Kiper said.
Ukrainian anti-aircraft missiles shot down 15 out of 16 drones used by Russia to attack the Odesa, Kyiv, Mykolaiv and Cherkassy regions, the Ukrainian Air Force reported on Telegram.
All the drones that targeted Kiev were destroyed, said Sergei Popko, head of the Ukrainian capital's military administration, adding that there were no casualties or damage in the city.
In recent weeks, Russia has significantly increased drone and missile attacks on civilian and especially energy infrastructure, causing extensive damage to infrastructure and a large number of civilian casualties, and Ukrainian forces are facing shortages of ammunition and air defense systems.
On Saturday, the United States House of Representatives approved a $61 billion military aid package to Kiev.
Critics say delays in approving aid have allowed Russia to gain momentum in the fighting.
