Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez announced today that he will remain in office, "with even more strength."
Sanchez shocked the nation on Wednesday, announcing he was taking five days off to consider his political future after a court opened proceedings against his wife, Begonja Gomez, on corruption charges.
"I have decided to continue with even more strength at the head of the government of Spain," he said in a speech broadcast live on television.
