The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Elmedin Konaković announced that he will request the payment of war damages from Serbia, as well as the renewal of the revision of the judgment against Serbia.
"Since Vučić (Serbian President Aleksandar) is like this, we will continue to seek compensation for war damages in all other ways, as well as the renewal of the revision of the verdict against Serbia. Really, Vučić like this and Serbia like this do not deserve an iota of respect from us," said the head of diplomacy. BiH for N1 Sarajevo.
When asked how surprised he was by the attitude of the Israeli ambassador to Serbia who denied the genocide in Srebrenica, Konaković said that "his country should have put him in the right place".
"It must have been a surprise to the whole and normal world that someone coming from Israel, a country that experienced the Holocaust, is playing with legal facts and trying to rewrite history because today the world order does not look the same. I did not see that there were any reactions from his countries that should put him in the right place. It seems to me that this story about the resolution has illuminated this ambassador in the right light, but also Serbia in particular. I think that we got Vučić out of the den in which he was pretending, offering and selling to the world that is some pro-European and great global man, and he is really a Russian proxy just like Dodik (Republika Srpska President Milorad)," he said.
On Tuesday, an extraordinary session of the Security Council (SC) of the United Nations (UN) on Bosnia and Herzegovina was announced at the request of Russia, and on that occasion the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željka Cvijanović should address via video link.
Konaković confirmed this information, pointing out that Russia is trying to secure Cvijanović's address.
"This confirms what we have been saying intensively for several months, that the Republika Srpska, its leader and Cvijanović are an advanced wing of Russia. I will repeat the first part because I consider it an important part of the story, and Vučić has finally shown himself in that right light. Those people are not even in their own house I cannot explain why they invested so much energy to defend the resolution that says that we will remember what happened in the protected zone of the United Nations. The world will mark that date with respect for the victims and it is forbidden to deny the genocide. Vučić, Dodik , Cvijanović and everyone like them are fighting with all their might so that the genocide can still be denied. Therefore, I do not believe that her address will change something that is certain and realistic. Of course, through Russia and some countries, Serbia has a lot of support for the resolution not to be adopted , but he thinks that the free-thinking world will once again send a message that such things should not be forgotten or allowed," he claims.
Konaković sent a message to Vučić, reports N1 Sarajevo.
"An important message for Vučić, he made D-Day out of this resolution as if something would change with its adoption. It will be a civilizational message to all those who deny genocide to stop doing it and to remember July 11. So, nothing happened. will not change, we will make every effort to promote the truth about Srebrenica in every possible place. This kind of Serbia does not deserve any cooperation that the resolution be stopped. Regardless of the epilogue of the vote on the resolution, which does not make an assumption, as Vučić is lying to the world public, for war reparations, but since he is like this, we will continue to demand compensation for war damages, as well as the renewal of the verdict against Serbia. Indeed, this kind of Vučić and this kind of Serbia do not deserve an iota of respect from us", asserts the BiH minister.
