The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said this evening for Sarajevo's Face TV (Face TV) that he is ready to give the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) two billion, without specifying the currency, for compensation in case of "disassociation" with Republika Srpska.
He also said that he is ready to give Potočare near Srebrenica, where the Memorial Center for Srebrenica victims is located, extraterritorially to Bosniaks.
"I am ready to give you two billion in compensation, to pay off some of your belongings in ten years. To give Potočari extraterritorially to you Bosniaks. To simply separate, because there is no way to continue living together," said Dodik.
When asked by the host of the show where he got the two billion, and he did not specify which currency it was, given that salaries are barely paid in the RS, Dodik said "if they don't have to spend that money, let them abolish the RS".
He stated that there will be no war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but that the RS will "one day leave" that country, accusing Bosniak politicians that their only goal is "dissolving the RS".
"No one is declaring secession, we are not seceding from BiH. We do not have any secession plan. The plan is that, if all our efforts do not establish a correct system of relations, we will separate from the Federation of BiH," said Dodik.
When asked by the presenter if he was "uncomfortable to breathe air with Muslims", reminding Dodik of his recent statement on this matter, the President of RS replied that he "does not hate Muslims and never said that he hates Muslims".
"I don't want to breathe air with a political structure that imposes the genocidal label on my people, I don't want us to live together," answered Dodik.
The presenter reminded that in his show in 2007, he clearly said that he "knows that genocide happened in Srebrenica", to which Dodik replied that it was a mistake.
"All my trust in Sarajevo was a mistake. That's why we need to part ways in a peaceful way," said Dodik.
When the host stated that "separation means war", the president of the RS replied that "he will not go to war", adding then "don't try to enter the territory of the RS, you will have a hard time walking barefoot through thorns".
When asked by the presenter when RS will be abroad, Dodik said that it will "happen quickly".
"Give us a chance to part ways," concluded Dodik.
