Today, the US officially rejoined the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), which it left under Republican President Donald Trump.
At the Paris-based organization's extraordinary general conference, members voted to readmit the US.
"The resolution has been adopted," said the president of the UNESCO assembly, Brazilian Santiago Irazabal Murao.
Exactly 132 member states voted for the return of the US, while 15 abstained.
