The young hope of the music scene Tamara Popovic he builds his career under a pseudonym Full. Two years later, during the corona virus pandemic, she released her first EP "Reflexija". Songs from it quickly found their way to the audience and that opened the door for her to perform at various festivals from Nishville to Exit.

She contributed to one of the EPs Mimi Mercedes singing her backing vocals, while she creatively participated as a songwriter in the creation of songs for one of the biggest pop stars of the new generation in Croatia - Nik Turković, then for this year's representative of Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest Teja Dora, but also for the increasingly popular one Phantom.

Although she spent a lot of time in her childhood in Podgorica, today she returns to the grave city of Montenegro, but not to see her relatives, but to confirm her status with a concert and when it comes to fans. She hopes that she will be able to acquire new ones, and she will also help her in this Tick Beri i Space Noxy.

Tam talks to "Vijesti" about how she entered the world of music, but she does not hide that there is always trepidation when she performs in a city for the first time...

You entered the world of music at a very young age, and today you are one of the most important musicians of the new generation. You have tons of hits behind you, fans. Was it only your love for music that led you into that world and what was your image of it before you got into it?

First of all, thanks for the compliments. The love of music got me into all this and it is what, along with the audience, still keeps me there. I was just happy to be a part of this whole world and everything was interesting to me.

Has that image changed and how much has it changed today when you are a very successful musician?

I had a feeling that it was complicated and difficult, but I had no idea in how many ways and how much mental and emotional gymnastics it takes to be vulnerable again and to expose your inner self to the world again. On the other hand, it's also beautiful for the same reason, especially when you find an audience and other musicians similar to yourself precisely because of that honesty and vulnerability.

You decided to introduce yourself to the audience as a singer-songwriter. What are the topics that inspire you and how difficult is it sometimes to convey emotion through music and lyrics?

Like most singer-songwriters, the world inside me and the world around me, other arts and stories that are eternal. It's usually easy for me to convey emotion, except when I have a creative block, then nothing works for me.

You bring a different vibe with each new song. How difficult is it to always be different and yet build a recognizable stamp through everything you do?

I am curious and every new process is inspiring for me and an opportunity to learn something new. I would say that the moment of improvisation "me, or a character in a given situation" is partly left over from my former acting career. I enjoy exploring music and aesthetics, otherwise I would be very bored.

The publishing house Universal Music stood behind you at the start. How much of a tailwind was that?

A big wind at your back indeed. They found me already after the first song, at a time when I had no idea that this would become my full-time job, although I wished for it. At that moment there was no similar music in our country, and I didn't want to make compromises.

Today, thanks to various studio effects, literally anyone can make music. As someone who has talent for both singing and writing, does that bother you considering that quality itself takes a long time to surface?

I think that it only contributed to the creation, every expression is different and everyone should try it if they think it is part of their path. Now it is much easier than before and other things are more important. You may not hit the perfect pitch, but you have the tools to hit the perfect emotion or be a sonic creative genius. What is considered quality has also changed, and that has never been the same for anyone.

You are a public figure and therefore you have your fans. How much effort do you make to watch how you behave in public because of them, but also what message your music carries?

Primarily, I pay attention to what values I stand for and what I support, that is the most important thing to me.

You have performed all over Serbia, including at important festivals, and soon the audience in Podgorica will have the opportunity to hear you. When you perform in new places, are you nervous and do you ask about the audience?

There is always trepidation because the audience has yet to be built in new places. People who don't know you come and you need to prove yourself. It's a chance to gain or lose someone as a fan, and potentially a new circle of people he's surrounded by. It's up to you whether they'll leave and tell everyone "I had a great time listening to this artist" or whether they'll say "nothing special" or something worse. Certainly, taking into account how much time I spent in Podgorica, especially in my childhood, and that a large part of my family is from there, I would like to build good relations and come as often as possible. The audience from Podgorica will have the opportunity to listen to me on March 21 at CKZ "Ribnica", where I will be joined by the talented Kene Berry and Space Noxy.
