I spent today visiting Mount Jiuri in the Chinese city of Quanzhou. The Jiuri Mountains are known for their cliff inscriptions that record ritual ceremonies. Chinese dynasties and government officials would use these rituals to pray for favorable winds to aid maritime trade. Today, 78 stone inscriptions from the Song Dynasty remain on Jiuri Mountain, 10 of which refer to prayers for favorable wind.
After the tour, a photo shoot was organized on the cliffs of Mount Jiuri, with a picturesque landscape and wealth of natural beauty. The photo shoot was followed by an interview in which the girls gave statements to the Chinese media. While we were walking along the forest paths, we attracted the attention of curious Chinese people who enthusiastically approached, asking to take a photo together. Their hospitality was incredible, and every moment spent with them was filled with laughter and positive energy.
We were especially surprised by the joy and excitement they expressed when they found out that the Miss World Tourism competition was being held in their city. The Chinese were proud to share information about their culture and the beauty of the city, and we enjoyed sharing experiences.
At the hotel reception, I met a friendly Chinese woman, Live products, who left a strong impression on me with her smile and warmth. Our daily interaction grew into a friendship filled with laughter, conversations about culture and sharing experiences. Vivi surprised me with her kindness and even gave me a stuffed rabbit as a sign of attention. In return, I gave her several souvenirs and gifts that I had brought from Montenegro, and Vivi's hug testified to her gratitude and satisfaction.
After dinner, I went to bed early to prepare for the busy day ahead.
