Those who understand understand, those who do not understand, I would write 10 pages for nothing, Montenegrin scientist Dragan Hajduković pointed out in another open letter to Albanian, Bosniak and Croat MPs.
"Goodbye Boko, the bride of the Adriatic. Goodbye the fairy-tale Lake Skadar. Goodbye Buljarica and Jaz. Goodbye Lovćen and Durmitor. Goodbye Valdanos and the big Ulcinj beach. Goodbye Montenegrin forests. Goodbye canyons and rivers... If you thought I was going on a long and distant journey , you were mistaken. This is not a farewell to a departing traveler, but a farewell to a man who knows that the last and greatest wave of devaluation of the Montenegrin territory and economy is coming, a wave after which nothing of value will remain," Hajduković stated in the letter.
He added that the charm and beauty of the Montenegrin territory and regions, which, according to Hajduković, were given by God for food production could and should be the basis of the well-being of the country and all its citizens, the basis of turning Montenegro into the best European country, a country that the whole world admires, and we its citizens love it with pride and respect.
"Therefore, no one questions the use of the territory as the basis of well-being, but the way of using the territory. In the last 25 years, the Montenegrin territory is not actually used, but is savagely destroyed and sold off in a way that makes it permanently worthless for future generations, and that the evil be the council does not benefit the current generations either. It should be clearly said that the "ecological state" Montenegro has become the undisputed European champion in the destruction of natural values. The only material benefit is the political-tycoon minority, which, with unprecedented recklessness and speed, creates money for itself, in the only way who knows, by destroying and selling off what is not theirs but ours. They build their apparent paradise on the hell of others, their apparent happiness on our misfortune," Hajduković wrote in the letter.
Hajduković added that instead of being at the service of Montenegro, the Montenegrin government has been brazenly acting as the owner of Montenegro for a quarter of a century.
"We have come to a situation where the catastrophic mismanagement of the state, and above all the devaluation of the territory, threatens the survival of the state much more than the biggest opponents of its existence," the letter reads.
Hajduković claims that the best solution is for Albanians, Bosniaks and Croats to insist on the formation of a government of national unity and salvation in accordance with the principles set out in his a recent open letter.
"If, which is very likely, they decide to support the continuation of the current government, they must limit its omnipotence to the following demands. Therefore, I suggest that they add these demands to the demands they are preparing: First, the situation is so critical that in order to save the Montenegrin territory, a temporary ban should be immediately introduced ( at least until the end of 2017) of any kind of construction in all coastal municipalities and on the territory of national parks and nature parks. Secondly, the path of cooperation and reconciliation must be taken once and for all; the new Parliament of Montenegro must not make decisions by reckless overvoting. Immediately after the formation of the Parliament, it must to adopt an agreement of all MPs on the method of decision-making: in the transitional two-year period, in order to make any decision, in addition to the votes of the MPs from the ruling parties, at least one quarter of the votes of the opposition MPs present is required. since the formation of the Assembly, it has been possible for citizens to directly decide on municipal referendums, that is, it is mandatory to hold a municipal referendum at the request of at least 6% of citizens with the right to vote. I would like to point out that the decision on the right of citizens to a municipal referendum is possible even without changing the current Constitution. Once again, I call on the representatives of the minority parties to stop the sudden return of Montenegro by insisting on the Government of National Unity and Salvation, but the minimum they must not go below are the three conditions mentioned above. Anything less than that is complicity in the murder of Montenegro," said Hajduković.
