The president of the Cetinje committee of the Citizens' Movement URA, Slavko Šole Janković, called, as he stated, "friends" to support the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in a repeat vote at a polling station in Cetinje on July 8.
He stated that by supporting SDP candidate Nikolo Đurašković, they would show that they share satisfaction with the work of local self-government.
"Let's appreciate the departure from the DPS criminal and destructive policy, which made our Cetinje a city from which young people can't wait to leave and whose consequences we will suffer for a long time. I hope that in the coming period, together, we will do everything to make Cetinje true Capital and that regardless of certain things on which we disagree, we will always be in the service of good for our citizens, which we have proven through unconditional support and joint actions," Janković wrote on his Facebook profile.
672 voters were registered at the polling station of the Lovcen partisan detachment II in Cetinje, and 11 of them voted in the elections on June 363. The SDP needs an additional 295 votes for parliamentary status.
The previous time at that polling station, 122 citizens gave their trust, the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) 125, the Europe Now Movement (PES) 49, and the Democrats-URA coalition 40. Now the SDP needs a total of 416 votes if the turnout is the same.
