The State Election Commission (SEC) submitted today to the Parliament of Montenegro a report on the conducted parliamentary elections, which formally met the conditions for convening the constitutive session of the new convocation of the Parliament, "News" from the SEC confirmed.
According to the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly, the summons for the constitutive session should be delivered to the deputies tomorrow, while the session should be held no later than five days after sending the summons.
On the other hand, the Constitution stipulates that the constituent session is held no later than 15 days after the publication of the final results. They were published on Friday.
Until the election of the President of the Assembly, the constitutive session is chaired by the oldest deputy, who is assisted in his work by the youngest deputy and the Secretary General of the Assembly.
