The constitutive session of the Parliament of Montenegro, which will elect a new convocation of the parliament, will be held on Thursday, July 27 at 12 noon, the Assembly announced.
In the convening sent by the President of the Assembly Danijela Đurović, it is stated that the agenda will include the report of the State Election Commission on the results of the elections, the election of the President of the Assembly, determination of the number and election of the Vice President, as well as the election of the President and members of the Administrative Board.
Until the election of the President of the Assembly, the constitutive session is chaired by the oldest deputy, who is assisted in his work by the youngest and the Secretary General of the Assembly.
The oldest deputy in the new convocation is Milan Lekić from the coalition For the Future of Montenegro, who is 63 years old.
The youngest member of parliament is Mirko Đukić (25).
Formal conditions for convening the constitutive session were obtained after the State Election Commission (SEC) submitted to the Assembly a report on the conducted parliamentary elections.
In the press release of the President's Cabinet, it is stated that she conducted extensive consultations with the holders of all election lists that entered the parliament, the oldest and the youngest member of parliament who will preside over the session, as well as the President of Montenegro, during which it was agreed that the most acceptable date for holding the session is 27 July
