The President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, has completed formal consultations regarding the election of the mandate holder for the formation of the 44th government.
"During almost two weeks of consultations, I had the opportunity to talk with representatives of 18 political subjects in the Parliament about the priorities, structure, model and support for the formation of the new Government," Milatović wrote on the X network.
He ended the consultations with a conversation with representatives of the United Montenegro and the Albanian Forum list.
Milatović discussed the mandate for the composition of the new government with representatives of the Albanian Forum Niko Đeljošaj, Ferhat Dinoš and Ivan Ivanaj.
The consultations were held at the president's residence in Cetinje.

Milatović also held consultations with representatives of the United Montenegro Goran Danilović, Vladimir Dobričanin and Danilo Jokić.
Milatović thus ended the consultations on the mandate.

On Monday in Cetinje, Milatović spoke with representatives of the Albanian Alliance, the Democratic Union of Albanians and Civis.
Last week, he held consultations with representatives of the Europe Now Movement, the Democratic Party of Socialists, Democratic Montenegro, the New Serbian Democracy and the Democratic People's Party.
As part of the consultations, Milatović also spoke with representatives of the Bosniak Party, the Citizens' Movement URA, the Social Democrats and the Croatian Citizens' Initiative, as well as the lists of the Socialist People's Party and Demos.
Consultations on the mandate for the composition of the government began on July 31.
Milatović previously said that, although he has a deadline of 30 days, he expects the consultations to end in 15 days.
