The Mothers of Srebrenica thanked Cetinje and Mayor Nikola Đurašković today for their support of the United Nations Resolution on the memorialization of the genocide in Srebrenica, it was announced from the Public Relations Office in the office of the Mayor of Prijestonica Cetinje.
"Thank you to libertarian Cetinje! The capital has always been on the right side of history, thank you!", according to a post on the social network Iks.
Đurašković, along with Bar Municipality President Dušan Raičević and Plav Municipality President Nihad Canović, supported the initiative of Sarajevo Mayor Benjamina Karić and the United Nations Resolution on the memorialization of the genocide in Srebrenica.
"The support for the Resolution is a sign of special respect and regret for the more than 8000 victims of the genocide in Srebrenica and a message of peace, coexistence and equal right to life for everyone, regardless of nationality and religion," said Đurašković.
