The association "Ada Bojana" will deal with the protection of the environment in the area of Bojana and Ada and the protection of the interests of fishermen, restaurant owners and owners of houses on the banks of the river, regardless of whether they are local or foreign citizens, it was announced after the founding assembly.
The goal is that the Association, whose president was elected a lawyer Arben Hodzic, proactively participates and cooperates with state bodies in the procedures for making important decisions, i.e. delegates members to the administrative boards of state bodies and to participate in spatial planning procedures. The association will also try to get Ada Bojana the status of a settlement.
The goals are also the preservation of the quiet zone in the area, the removal of wild landfills, municipal waste and the installation of containers, the regulation of waste water, the protection of flora, fauna, calimer and fishing houses, solving the problem of the slipway for launching boats and determining the place for storing fishing equipment and moorings boats.
The association will also deal with infrastructure and advocate for the construction of roads, normal electricity and water supply, will prevent the demolition of buildings, ask for regular dusting of mosquitoes, solve problems related to high levies - the price list of initial fees...
