This summer, Juancho Hernangomez was in the spotlight as the main protagonist of the movie "Hustle", about a scout (Adam Sandler) who finds a very talented, but also "raw" basketball player Bo Cruz in Spain and prepares him for the draft.
During the 41st Eurobasket, the Spanish representative was in the shadow of his brother Willy and Lorenzo Braun, but in the final he grabbed the main role for himself.
Toronto's wing basketball player scored 27 points in the victory over France, and he shot a phenomenal 9-7 three-pointers, with the fact that he missed one from over half the court with the sound of the siren. And, of course, he was the MVP of the finals.
"This is a long road, with many ups and downs. In the end, with a lot of work and self-belief, everything worked out. This was not a bed strewn with rose petals, but a road full of complicated moments, which make these beautiful moments even more beautiful", said Huanćo through tears after the final.
Sendler also congratulated the Spanish representative on Twitter.
"Bo Cruz! The goal has been met. I love you Juancho. And Vilia! Congratulations to the whole Spanish team”.
And Sergio Ljulj mentioned his character in a tweet after six consecutive triples by Huanć, but his sister, Andrea Ernangomes Heuer, described everything best.
"There is no Bo Cruz in real life, there is only one Juancho Hernangomes".
