The Board of Directors of Aerodrom Montenegro dismissed Vladan Drašković from the position of Executive Director.
The acting executive director, as announced, will be his former deputy, Petar Radulović.
According to "Vijesti" unofficial information, three members of the Board of Directors voted for the dismissal of Drašković from the position of executive director - Board President Eldin Dobardžić, Ilija Mugoša, and Nebojša Đoković (Nova).
Member of the Board of Directors Slavko Vukčević (SNP) was against it, while Kemal Purišić (Bosniak Party) did not participate in the work of the session.
The initiative for the dismissal of Drašković, who has extensive international experience in airport operations and the provision of airport services, was initiated by Dobardžić.
According to the unofficial information of "Vijesti", Dobardžić and his like-minded members from the Board of Directors reproached Drašković for signing and approving a payment in the amount of around 550.000 euros to a British company from which the Airports of Montenegro bought new self-propelled stairs for boarding passengers in a tender last year. planes for Tivat airport and Podgorica airport.
Drašković was allegedly accused of having made the payment without authorization, even though the ACG Board of Directors headed by Dobardžić had previously adopted the ACG Public Procurement Plan for 2023, which provided for the procurement of escalators for Tivat and Podgorica, and in the meantime had even adopted a special decision to enter that business and buy the stairs from the British company that was the best bidder at the tender.
Dobardžić, Mugoša and Đoković replaced Drašković today because he did what the ACG Executive Director does according to the Statute: signed a contract with the most favorable bidder and an order to pay for the new airport equipment delivered in the meantime in accordance with that contract.
In the text, before the correction, it was written that Mugoša is an official of GP URA. Reacting to "Vijesti" writing, Mugoša announced that he is not a member or representative of GP URA in the Board of Directors of ACG.
"It is true that I was appointed to the Board of Directors of the ACG by the 43rd Government and that I was an adviser in the cabinet of the then Prime Minister Dritan Abazović, but I was an ordinary employee there and not a member of any party," said Mugoša, adding that he did not a member of no party.
