Members of the Pljeval parliament did not vote tonight on the price increase for parking services, which was proposed by the management of the company "Čistoća", because just before the vote, the proposer withdrew the new price list.
The proposer withdrew the price list after it was clear that part of the councilors of the assembly majority would not support the increase in parking service prices.
Councilors from the ruling majority of the Europe Now Movement (PES) and Democratic Montenegro, as well as the opposition Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) and Bosniak Party (BS), did not support the new price list, which proposes an increase in services up to 60 percent.

The Democrats and PES councilors did not implement their decision even after the opponents of the new proposal convinced them to do so during the discussion.
"It is much less of a shame to adopt such a measure than to stop providing services," said the director of "Čistoća", Gordana Lekić, explaining the proposal.
She said that the price list has not been changed since 2020, and that in the meantime the company has invested more than 200.000 euros in parking equipment.
"Due to the adoption of the new Branch collective agreement in October last year, we had to increase the wages of employees between 35 and 40 percent. All local companies are in the process of adopting new price lists. The proposed prices are lower than in Bijelo Polje," said Lekić.
The president of the municipality, Dario Vraneš, said that it would be realistic to increase the price of parking.
Explaining the reasons why PES councilors will not support the new price list, that party's councilor Radoman Andesilić said that problems in the company are being solved behind the backs of citizens.
"The biggest problem is overemployment and that problem must be solved. The solution must be sought on the expenditure side of the company, never on the revenue side. We have management that is well paid, so let them find a solution," Andesilić said.
The member of the Democrats Milojica Tešović said that it is not popular to increase the price and not take measures to reduce redundant employees.
"Measures must not only increase the price, but also reduce costs. If you prove through analysis that the price is justified, the assembly will accept it. If other measures are not taken, nothing will be solved by the price alone. It is the employment policy that creates for us problems in public enterprises," said Tešović.
Member of the New Serbian Democracy Slobodan Radović said that not a single person is redundant in municipal enterprises because every person is a resource.
"When we have a situation where 60 thousand euros are missing, then we have to find a solution, we have to show solidarity with the 200 or so workers who work there. To show a form of social solidarity," said Radović.
And DPS councilor Haris Alavać believes that the problem in the work of local companies is being tried to be transferred to the burden of citizens.
