All registered candidates meet the requirements of the announced public call for the election of one judge of the Constitutional Court.
This was established by the Commission, whose task was to determine whether the applications of the candidates were submitted in accordance with the competition, whose report was adopted today at the session of the Constitutional Committee.
The Commission consisted of MP Darko Dragović of the Europe Now Movement (PES), Bogdan Božović of the Socialist People's Party (SNP) and Sonja Milatović of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS).
Alija Beganović, Zoran Vukićević, Nerma Dobardžić, Muhamed Đokaj, Jovan Kojičić and Sanja Maslenjak applied for the competition announced by the Constitutional Committee on January 22.
Judges of the Constitutional Court are elected by the Parliament of Montenegro for 12 years, by a two-thirds or three-fifths majority of the deputies.
Hearings of the first two candidates will be held on May 10.
