Krstović was arrested yesterday in an operation by the Sector for the fight against crime and the Budva police, with the support of the Special Police Department, on suspicion of having created a criminal organization that smuggled drugs, laundered money...
The Montenegrin police have been looking for him since November 2023, when they handcuffed Saša Andušić and Boris Dobrović from Podgorica, suspected of the crimes of creating a criminal organization and money laundering.
According to police data, Krstović is one of the heads of the Podgorica branch of the Škaljar criminal clan.
"IK was wanted on the warrant of NCB Interpol Podgorica on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization and the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and placing on the market of narcotic drugs and several criminal offenses in the field of money laundering, as well as the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons and matter and the criminal offense of causing general danger," the Police Directorate announced last night.
In the official announcement, they wrote that he was a "high-ranking member of a criminal group that carried out criminal activities on the territory of Montenegro."

He was part of the team that, at the end of June 2017, harassed a well-known Montenegrin athlete and the son of one of the highest government officials in the "Trokadero" discotheque in Budva. The same team attacked the police after that incident, but no one was prosecuted for that, it was announced unofficially at the time.
A few days later, members of the special police entered that discotheque and searched the group that included Krstović, the now deceased Milić Minja Šaković... but they did not find any of the illegal items.
