Minister of Human and Minority Rights Fatmira Đeka said that the decision MP of the Democratic People's Party (DNP) Maja Vukićević that not voting for the admission of Kosovo to the Council of Europe is "harmful" and that "the European integration of Montenegro".
"The political decision of the Council of Europe is clear - Kosovo is a sovereign state. Montenegro also made that decision 15 years ago, but it seems that some in the ruling coalition did not understand it either. The vote of the leader of our delegation in that European institution is not only against the coalition agreement , but directly endangers the receipt of IBAR," Đeka said.
He also stated in the statement that the Democratic Party and its leader and member of the ruling coalition consider "this move harmful and endangering the European integration of Montenegro".
"We expect the other members of the coalition to make a clear decision about this move, and accordingly we will also make a decision," Đeka concluded.
