As Fabricio Romano announced, the expert from the Basque Country agreed with Leverkusen to lead the team in the next season, and Bayern and Liverpool have already been informed of this decision.
Obviously, Alonso wanted to thank Bayer in this way, because he believed in him from the beginning.
The clause on Ćabi's departure from Bayer will be activated only in the summer of 2025, and what is important for this German club is that Florian Wirz, the best player and the great desire of many European giants, will wear his jersey in the following seasons.
Bayern and Liverpool now have to find a new solution by the end of the season, given that the German club has already agreed to end cooperation with Thomas Tuchel, while Jurgen Klopp is retiring from Liverpool and football.
Of course, Real Madrid was also interested in Ćabi, but this decision will not affect the "royal club" much, since it has already agreed to continue cooperation for the next season with Carlo Ancelotti.
