The Jadran water polo players did not repeat the very good performance from the duel with Novi Beograd, with whom they were tied for almost three and a half quarters last night.
The vice-champion of Europe won 15:13, and tonight Novljan suffered their second defeat in the regional Premier League tournament - Crvena zvezda was better 14:12.
The Montenegrin champion was in the red all the time, and Zvezda had the biggest advantage five minutes before the end of the third quarter when they took a 12:7 lead.
Seven minutes later it was 14:10, and Petar Radanović's team improved the impression in the finish, reducing it to 14:12 and 80 seconds before the end missed an attack with one more player to create uncertainty.
Uroš Vučurović, Danilo Radović, Ivan Nagaev and Strahinja Gojković were double scorers, Dmitrij Holod, Martin Gardašević and Vasilije Radović scored once each.
In Zvezda, Marko Radović and former young representative of Montenegro Gavril Subotic were the most effective with four goals each.
