The new Board of Directors of the Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System (CEDIS) held a constitutive session today, where they dismissed the current CEO Vladimir Čađenović and appointed Vladimir Ivanović as acting CEO of the company.
The board of directors elected Čađenović as the president of that board.
The new convocation of the board consists of: Vladimir Čađenović, Mirsad Džudžević, Jovan Sinanović and among experts prof. Dr. Vladan Radulović and Ilija Miljanić.
In the press release, CEDIS provided the biography of Ivanovic.
"Vladimir Ivanović graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Montenegro, majoring in Energy, in 2005. He started his work in 2007, when he was assigned to the position of engineer in the Measurement Service. From 2010 to 2015, he was the head of the Service for measurement in Elektrodistribucija Podgorica, and then head of the Measurement Service of Region 2 (Podgorica, Cetinje, Danilovgrad, Zeta, Tuzi) in Elektroprivreda Montenegro, and then in the Montenegrin Electric Distribution System. During 2017, Vladimir briefly held the position of head of the Center for Measurement in the Operational Directorate of CEDIS. Since May 2021, he has been the head of the Operational Directorate in the Montenegrin Electric Distribution System. Vladimir speaks English. He is married and the father of one child," the biography states.
They also submitted the biography of Čađenović.
"Čađenović was born in 1984 in Podgorica, where he completed elementary school and high school. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro in 2008. He started working at the Faculty of Law of the UCG on October 01, 2008, where he worked until June 2010. was the head of the Department for Student Affairs at the Faculty of Law in Budva. Then he moved to the Institute of Foreign Languages of the University of Montenegro to the position of head of the Institute's Student Service. From July 08, 2011 to May 04, 2016, he was the secretary of the Institute of Foreign Languages, he practiced law since 2016. He was elected as the Executive Director of CEDIS on April 12, 2021. Čađenović speaks Russian and uses English. He is married and the father of one child," it is stated in biography.
They remind that CEDIS separated from Elektroprivreda on June 30, 2016, and since then has been operating as an independent legal entity with a license to perform distribution system operator activities. "The main activities of CEDIS are: distribution of electricity, construction and maintenance of distribution facilities and networks. CEDIS distributes electricity to about 430 thousand users in the territory of Montenegro," the announcement concludes.
EPCG: Soon new boards in the Coal Mine and Ironworks
Elektroprivreda announced earlier today that a new Board of Directors of CEDIS was elected.
The Board of Directors of EPCG, in its capacity as the Assembly of CEDIS shareholders, at the extraordinary session on March 28, dismissed the current and appointed new members of the CEDIS board.
"The OD EPCG decided on this composition of the CEDIS Board, choosing from among 62 registered candidates who submitted the necessary documentation, i.e. work resumes, to the Public Announcement within the stipulated time," they stated in the announcement.
After the election of the president of the CEDIS board, they clarified, the executive director will also be elected, whose choice is the responsibility of the CEDIS Board of Directors.
It is recalled that the Board of Directors of EPCG made a decision in February that, in order to achieve the highest quality management, strategic planning and development of the company's subsidiaries, a public call should be published, with the intention of allowing all interested candidates to apply for membership in the board directors of: CEDIS, Rudnik Pljevlja, EPCG-Solar Construction and EPCG-Zeljezare Nikšić.
EPCG announces that the previous and appointed new members of Pljevlja Coal Mine and EPCG-Jeljezara Nikšić will soon be dismissed.
