The value of the most famous cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, has reached a new high.
For the first time ever, one Bitcoin is $69.202, surpassing the previous high of just under $69.000 recorded in November 2021.
The largest cryptocurrency by market value is up 50 percent this year, with most of the growth coming in the past few weeks as inflows into U.S. exchange-traded bitcoin funds have surged, Reuters reports.
Bitcoin trading from regular exchange accounts was approved in the US earlier this year.
This opened the way for new big investors and reignited the enthusiasm and momentum of this digital currency.
Net inflows into the top ten US bitcoin funds reached $2,17 billion in the week to March 1.
